(IN) PLACE OF BORDER
UrbanFestival explores the city developments of Zagreb/Croatia
through the perspective of contemporary art. Located beside
the river Sava it deals with the question, what kind of border
the river does perform in the urbanity of the city of Zagreb?

The Prediction
The Prediction is a performative action dealing with possible
developments of the riverbanks.
Therefore RG commissioned a fortune teller, to do a look into
the future and tell the public about the coming developments.
The objective is to open up a different perspective on urban
development, which is usually discussed only from a rational
and power determined perspective.
Following question is in the centre of interest:
In which direction could the development of the relationship
with Sava be headed?
On Oct 3 2009 took place a life performance in the framework
of the festival. The fortune teller Fatima Tomicic tells her
prediction in front of a public audience.
